Similar to the Generation 1 PC-50x range of consoles,. there were many versions of this console. Some made by Radofin for other companies like Acetronic and Prinztronic, where the cartridges design would work on any of these brands irrespective of who Published them, however, Radofin also sold the licence for the mechanics of the console and many manufactures made the cartridge designs so as to only be compatible with their version of the console such as the Videomaster Database, Rowtron TCS, and most famously the Interton VC4000.

In 1979 the Radofin 1292 was released as the 1392 (the only difference was the transformer was now built in to the console, and not separate). These console played the same games with no change or additional functions.
