Videomaster, was Established in London 1974, and was Europe's first video game manufacturer. It was the video arm of well established board game manufacturing company Waddington’s.
(Bought by Hasbro in 1994).

The Videomaster Home T.V. Game was sold in at least three countries: England, France and Germany, and was available either pre-assembled, or in kit form allowing hobbyists to assemble their own system and save some money.

Later redesigns of this console were released during 1975 as the MkII and MkIII, but only available in kit form. (We sadly do not, currently, have examples of either of these redesigns).

Videomaster also sold, under license, the rights to sell versions of many of their consoles under brand names, these consoles are referred to as "clones". Once such company was Henry's, a British retailer of television and hi-fi equipment. They manufactured their own clone of the Videomaster Home T.V. Game and marketed it under the name VideoSport MkII (We sadly do not, currently, have an example in our collection).
